Job Description

  • Design, implement, and develop optical network infrastructure, including DWDM and FTTH.
  • Oversee installation, splicing, patching, and integration of transmission and fiber access networks.
  • Perform network testing and troubleshooting using OTDR, Optical Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, and other measurement tools.
  • Debug and optimize network performance; conduct single-site and multi-site commissioning.
  • Ensure continuous maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of DWDM & FTTH systems.
  • Plan fiber routes to optimize coverage and minimize signal loss in the distribution network.
  • Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and troubleshooting logs for tracking and evaluation.
  • Ensure all installations and network operations comply with industry standards and best practices in fiber deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the development, expansion, and optimization of telecommunication networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fiber optic networks, DWDM, FTTH, SDH, MPLS, Routing, and backbone technologies, particularly in the telecommunications sector.
  • Hands-on experience with fiber optic installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of optical transmission technologies and TCP/IP networking.
  • Experience with multi-vendor fiber optic networks is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using optical test equipment such as OTDR, Optical Spectrum Analyzer (OSA), BERT, and Optical Power Meters.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel and work night shifts if required.
  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.
