Administrative Assistant

 Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • High level of knowledge with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good command of business procedures.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • High standards of performance and flexibility in work assignments.
  • Possess knowledge of company procedures.
  • Uses good judgment.
  • Work with Principal/Partners regarding format of jobs and establishing priorities.
  • Work directly with Managers to assist in Production coordination.
  • Maintain excellent word processing/filing standards.
  • Create new standard specification sections and update as required. File electronic documents within a unique company file structure.
  • Create project manuals from marked-up standard specifications.
  • Word Processing of proposals, reports, etc.
  • Update our client job lists, office manuals, special forms, etc.
  • Orients and assists new administrative employees. May also act as a mentor to new employees.
  • Develop forms and templates to assist in word and numbers processing.
  • Detail oriented with all tasks.
  • Performs duties primarily in the office during regular business hours.
  • Contributes to a positive, collaborative, and productive team environment.
  • Adaptable to change and ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School Graduate
  • Preferably has an Associates or some College experience.
