All powered by blockchain and DeFi solutions such as AMMs, liquidity pools, and decentralized trading to ensure true liquidity.

Job scope:



  • Design and develop the technology strategy, architecture, and processes

  • Build and maintain a highly engaged engineering organization and culture; guide continuous learning for the engineering team and continuous improvement in our solutions

  • Work closely with product, marketing, business development, and operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements

  • Nurture and enhance our engineering culture of inclusivity, curiosity, and ownership

  • Ensure all technology practices, products, and services adhere to regulatory standards within financial services and data privacy

  • Partner with fellow leadership peers to remediate production breaks and issues. Deliver real time updates, thorough postmortems and creating frameworks to prevent repeatable errors

  • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture

  • Work with the leadership team to set clear priorities and goals for technology and product teams, balancing the long-term and immediate needs

  • Define the companys overall technology strategy to support business objectives

  • Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships

  • Hiring engineers/tech team members and ensuring their retention

  • Manage resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics

  • Make infrastructure decisions, ensuring technical excellence, versatility, safety and soundness, resiliency and scalability in the architecting and engineering of product solutions, as well as managing all technical delivery

  • Ensure tight collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives, including understanding of the alignment between technology strategy and various technology road maps



Qualifications:


  • Degree in Computer Science / equivalent / practical experience

  • 10+ years of progressive responsibilities in software development with 5+ years of experience in management

  • Experience working with remote teams preferred

  • Significant experience developing innovative products that heavily leverage emerging technologies in the Blockchain and Web3 space

  • Exceptional technical capability, with deep knowledge of and experience with modern software development practices and technologies

  • Player-coach engineering leader with the ability to act as an architect and commit production code as needed

  • Experienced in building complex technical solutions with deep knowledge of key architectural principles

  • Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval

  • Must have experience in MERN, MEAN technology stack and an expert in Node.JS and RDBMS, and NoSQL

  • Proven experience as Head of Engineering,Director or similar leadership role overseeing architecture and engineering for SaaS technology platforms

  • Demonstrated experience with integrating teams across multiple business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce

  • Strong department leader with skills in strategic planning, goal setting, processes development, budgeting, and creating opportunities for professional development within technology teams
