Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 base salary. $160,000 - $200,000 OTE.

Description:
Our client is seeking a results-driven Social Media Sales Lead to drive revenue growth through outbound media and brand sales. This role is ideal for a seasoned media sales professional who thrives in dynamic, digital-first environments and is motivated by building strategic partnerships at the intersection of social media, content, and commerce.

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through closing deals targeting brands and media agencies

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on key verticals, with emphasis on sports influencer talent and broader creator partnerships

  • Deliver compelling presentations and value propositions tailored to brand and agency clients

  • Leverage performance data and market insights to inform outreach strategies and optimize campaign results

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, identifying ongoing opportunities for growth and engagement

  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to questions, resolving challenges, and maintaining consistent communication

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on campaign execution and client expectations

  • Represent the company at key industry events and client meetings, positioning the platform as a leading solution in the social commerce space

  • Track competitive trends, market shifts, and emerging opportunities to shape future sales approaches

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of proven media sales experience, with a strong focus on social media platforms and influencer marketing

  • Demonstrated success closing deals and consistently exceeding revenue targets

  • Deep understanding of the U.S. advertising and brand landscape

  • Familiarity with the sports ecosystem, particularly athlete partnerships and brand alignment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value across stakeholder levels

  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, creator/influencer ecosystems, and performance-driven content strategies

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Existing SMB to Enterprise brand and agency relationships are a strong asset

Preferred:

  • Experience selling within a startup or high-growth tech company

  • Familiarity with creator economy trends, affiliate marketing, or brand ambassador programs

  • Knowledge of athlete-brand dynamics and best practices for positioning sports talent in campaigns
