Location: London, Ontario
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday with on-call rotation (1 week on / 2 weeks off)
Salary: $33/hr - $37/hr

Description:
Our client is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to support customers across Southwestern Ontario. This is a field-based role focused on emergency troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical expertise, solid electrical knowledge, and a customer-first mindset, with a strong preference for experience in compressed air systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform emergency field service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting at customer sites

  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance, repairs, and new equipment installations

  • Read and interpret three-phase electrical panels, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Service and maintain mechanical systems with supporting electrical components

  • Work directly with clients on-site, providing clear communication and professional service

  • Use digital tools and IT platforms for reporting, diagnostics, and service documentation

  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent service requests as needed

  • Travel occasionally for overnight service calls or training (approximately 10–20% annually)

  • Attend technical training sessions in Montreal or the U.S. as required

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of field service experience in an industrial or client-facing environment

  • Strong mechanical background (3–5 years required)

  • Minimum 1 year of electrical experience, with strong understanding of three-phase systems

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation

  • Comfortable working independently in the field and managing customer interactions

  • Proficient with IT tools, mobile service platforms, and digital reporting systems

  • Strong preference for experience with compressed air systems

  • Familiarity with piping systems and industrial layouts is an asset

Background Preferences:

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial service, or food & beverage facilities

  • HVAC background is highly desirable
