Summary

Were seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer with web and mobile application development knowledge. This is a customer focused position that involves working directly with customer subject matter experts to design visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces, dashboards, and reports. It includes translating the designs for offshore web and backend development teams and ensuring high quality UI/UX delivery. This is a high-visibility role with the potential for direct hire or contract extension at the end of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Create intuitive, accessible user interfaces for enterprise web and mobile applications
• Design user-centered experiences based on research and best practices
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard design tools
• Create and maintain reusable design components
• Collaborate with web developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Participate in reviews to ensure UI/UX standards compliance
• Document design decisions, patterns, and guidelines for implementation
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations
• Contribute to the evolution of our design system and component library
• Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices
• Stay current with web development best practices and emerging technologies

Required Skills and Key Competencies:

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (Figma or similar)
• Experience designing responsive interfaces for various device sizes
• Experience designing visual dashboards and reports

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for enterprise web and mobile applications
• Experience with iOS and Android native mobile application UI/UX design
• Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and layout
• Experience with user research, personas, and journey mapping
• Experience designing visual dashboards and reports for Power BI
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Proficiency with usability and web application testing methodologies and tools
• Solid understanding of CSS frameworks
• Experience with version control systems
• Strong proficiency with React, React Native, TypeScript, and Next.js
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques
• Experience with component-based architecture and design systems
• Experience with frontend security best practices
