Live in Carer - London

Iphomecare is looking for experienced Live in Carers to support our clients in their own homes to remain Independent.

As a live in carer, you will live with your client in their own home.

Willingness to work on a rotating schedule of 4/6 weeks on and 1-2 weeks off.

*Employed and self-employed opportunities available*

Up-to £1099 per week for most qualified staff and working with clients with complex care needs.

Full UK drivers licence preferably with the ability to drive an adapted vehicle (although not mandatory)

About the role:

· Supporting clients with personal care this to include showering, bathing etc

· Administering / prompting clients prescribed medication

· Supporting clients with Moving and handling

· Ensure the smooth running of the home this to include cooking, cleaning

· Working with the client on a person centered approach

· Supporting our client to access the community to day centres, medical appointments, cinema, shopping trips

· Assisting with daily physio exercises.

Requirements:

• Professional care experience gained in any care setting, such as live-in carer, domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant in the NHS or similar.
