Our client looking for Sales Executives (Internal and Field Sales) to expand their business activities and customer database at the client Durban, George, Nelspruit and Cape Town Branches. The Sales Executives and Business Developers will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and maintaining customer satisfaction as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
  • At least 3 years proven working experience in the sales industry.
  • Experience in the Electrical and/or Renewable Industry will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Field Sales role - Own reliable transport with valid drivers licence
  • MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Presentable with strong Interpersonal communication and listening skills.
  • Must be deadline driven and position sometimes requires over time.
  • Must have a high degree of self-motivation and ambition, and have the skills to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, operational, and planning skills in a customer service- and sales focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sales in region of responsibility.
  • Developing strong relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty in building the clients customer base.
  • Calling on customers and servicing their needs.
  • Reporting  based on sales performance 
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective customers.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Presenting sales presentations to a range of prospective customers.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from customers.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Evaluate the needs of potential customers or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining customer records.
  • Customer queries about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Attending conferences and seminars; and
  • Monitoring market fluctuations, tendencies, and trends.
  • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset
