Job requirements

Fluent in English

10+ years of experience in the shipbuilding industry.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong organizational skills including attention to detail

Excellent project management skills

Excellent, leadership.

Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software

Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.

PMP certification

Age: 33 years or above

Job Responsibilities

Manage internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Ensure resource availability and allocation

Develop a detailed project plan to track the progress

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs

Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques

Report to management as needed, also produce reports to clients as required by contract.

Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

Perform risk analysis in order to mitigate and manage risks.

Ensure that all identified contractors are suitably pre-qualified for the project.

Provide technical direction to supply chain for the negotiation of the purchase of any goods and/ or services required for the delivery of the project.

The ideal candidate should have the following :

  • Experience in shipbuilding projects ( crew boats & Pilot boats)
  • Preferable to be in the UAE or else must be in GCC
  • Mechanical or Marine Engineer certificate
