Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in the same field ( Shipbuilding , Ship repair or Marine industry ).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Working experience with relevant software
- Knowledge of Transport management
- Knowledge of distribution, warehousing, and storage operations
- A strategic and analytical mind
- Education: Professional/vocational/technical qualification in a relevant field
- Age: 25 years or above
Responsibilities:
- Review and update supply chain practices by new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers.
- Planning delivery timetables
- Ensuring stores have enough stock
- Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet the demand
- Overseeing the ordering and packaging process
- Monitoring stock levels
- Tracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination
- Overseeing the arrival of shipments
