Nursing Officer of Blood Transfusion Centre (BTC)

The Nursing Officer of BTC is a key member of the hospital clinical team. He / She delivers safe, competent, individualized patient centered holistic care to an optimum level, by utilizing nursing process. Assists in the management of Blood Transfusion Centre during the assigned shift for the clinical care of patients and operation of the units.  Plans, directs and coordinates medical and health services, sets and carries out policies, goals and procedures for the area; evaluates the quality of the staffs work and develops reports and budgets. Assures that all patients on the unit are satisfied with the nursing care provided resulting in excellent outcomes. Serves as the Acting Nurse Supervisor during their absence.

Education and Experience profile:

• Bachelor's  Degree in Nursing 
• Registred with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council
