About the job Principal Physiotherapist

The Principal Physiotherapist will be involved in the care of the patients within the Rehabilitation Unit, but they will also be called to contribute to the evaluation of those patients admitted within the ICU, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Orthopedic Wards. The Principal Physiotherapist organizes work shifts and will be the link person between the Rehabilitation Unit and all the other Units of ISHU. He/she reports weekly to the Director of Department. The Principal Physiotherapist will attend periodic multidisciplinary meetings to evaluate which procedures perform for the different patients. Finally, he/she will apply all the procedure to minimize the risk of infections in accordance with Infection Prevention and Control Service and Quality & Safety Department.


Education and Experience profile:

  • Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized University or Institution. Bachelor's degree will be an advantage.
  • PG Diploma in Administration or Management from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Allied Health Professional Council
  • Should have knowledge and working experience of minimum six (6) years
