About the job Principal/ Senior Orthopedic Officer

The Principal/Senior Orthopedic Officer will be involved in the care of the patients within the Unit, but they will also be called to contribute to the evaluation and care of those patients admitted to the Operating Theatre. They will also participate to the work shifts of the OPD Clinics belongings to the Orthopedics and Trauma Unit, but also to the ER work shifts. The Principal/ Senior Officer will organize work shifts and will be the link person between the Orthopedic & Trauma Unit and all the other Units of ISHU. He/she reports weekly to the Chief of Unit.

Finally, he/she will apply all the procedure to minimize the risk of infections in accordance with Infection Prevention and Control Service and Quality & Safety Department.

Education and Experience profile:
  • Diploma in Orthopedics from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Must be registered and licensed (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Allied Health Professional Council
  • Should have knowledge and working experience of six (6) years, three (3) of which should be at the level of Senior Orthopedic Officer.
