Nursing Officer of Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

The Nursing Officer of CCU  is a key member of the hospital clinical management team whose primary role is to oversee all nursing care the assigned facility. Responsible for the clinical care of patients while admitted to the CCU. Plans, directs, and coordinates nursing care during the assigned shift. Evaluates patients and ensures that the clinical expectations and performance in the CCU are met resulting in excellent outcomes. The incumbent will ensure transparency in all matters pertaining to facility.

Education and Experience profile:

• B. Sc. Degree in Nursing is essential
• Registered with Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council
• Post Basic Diploma preferred
• Minimum six (6) years as Assistant Nurse in area of Specialty or equivalent
• At least two (2) years as Senior Assistant Nursing Officer  in CCU or equivalent
