Warehouse Operative / Team Leader

Our client, a well-established company based in Naas, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Team Leader to join its busy warehouse team. This is a full-time position offering regular daytime hours and an opportunity to take on additional responsibility within the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
• Allocate work and provide guidance to warehouse operatives.
• Lead by example and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
• Receive, check and put away incoming goods.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch.
• Monitor workflow and help the team meet daily deadlines.
• Maintain accurate stock and warehouse records.
• Ensure goods are stored safely and correctly.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Report any stock discrepancies, damaged goods or operational issues to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Previous team leader, supervisory or senior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and support a small team.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using warehouse or stock-management systems.
• A valid forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently.
• Good level of written and spoken English.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
