Assistant Engineer

The Role:

• Undertake and prepare quotation, purchase requisition, invoice and related documents for orders

• Co-ordinate and liaise with internal and external parties, such as management, contractors and FTNS operators for field service and project implementation

• Supervise contractors to support operation, maintenance and implementation of block wiring projects

• Ensure service orders to be completed on time and meet quality standard

• Prepare and update block wiring inventory and all related reports

• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

The Person:

• Diploma/Certificate holder in Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years experiences in Telecommunications industry

• Hands on experiences in fiber/telephone block wiring, cabling work planning, trouble shooting and test activities are preferred

• Self-motivated, proactive, with strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Good team player and able to work under pressure

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

• Possession of valid driving license will be an advantage
