What You Will Get Out of This Position

As a User Experience Researcher at ITC, youll play a strategic role in shaping meaningful user journeys across digital ecosystems for top-tier global clients in Asia. Youll dive deep into research and data analysis to uncover user needs and market insights, translating them into actionable experience strategies that influence project directioneven during the pre-sales phase. Working alongside strategists, art directors, and developers, youll sharpen your ability to connect customer expectations with business goals while gaining exposure to platforms like WeChat, Mini Programs, and other regional tools. Youll grow your UX skills while influencing the user experience from the very first touchpoint.

Responsibilities

User Research (60%):

  • Conduct in-depth user research, stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis and analytics reviews to define user needs and behaviors (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar).
  • Support team by shaping early UX strategy and proposing user-centered solutions tailored to client and market expectations.
  • Create user personas and customer journey maps to identify pain points and opportunities (e.g., improving website conversion rates).
  • Collaborate closely with UI designers and art directors to assess design completeness, identify missing UI elements, and ensure cohesion in execution.
  • Partner with developers and project managers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery.
  • Regularly benchmark against local and international digital experiences to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Present findings and design recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams through visual and verbal storytelling.
  • Plan and execute usability tests using tools like UserTesting or Maze, analyzing feedback to drive design decisions.

User Flow Design (30%):

  • Design user flows and sitemaps for digital products (e.g., website pages, app interfaces) to ensure intuitive navigation.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director (UI) and UI Designer to translate research insights into wireframes and prototypes (using Figma).
  • Iterate user flows based on usability test results and stakeholder feedback.

Collaboration & Reporting (10%):

  • Work closely with the Strategy & Consulting (SC) team to align research with business goals (e.g., increasing service inquiries).
  • Partner with the Production team to ensure technical feasibility of designs.
  • Prepare concise reports and presentations (e.g., Google Slides) to share insights and recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Support the team in conducting thorough quality control (QC) of websites before launch, checking for design accuracy, functional issues, content alignment, and overall user experience consistency.

Requirements

Must Have

  • 25 years of experience in UX design, with a strong focus on research and data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in UI/UX design, Design Thinking, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to guide design strategies.
  • Experience in conducting usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in contributing to client-facing discussions, especially during the early stages of a project.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar for creating wireframes and prototypes.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Chinas digital ecosystem and platforms such as WeChat, Mini Programs, and Zalo.
  • Understanding of Chinese user behavior and cultural nuances in UX design.Mandarin
