About the role
As a Tech Support Specialist at Itekako, you will help maintain and support the IT systems that keep our team running smoothly. Your tasks will include installing and configuring operating systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting employees with hardware and software needs. You will work closely with our colleague who is currently covering all technical support activities.
What you'll do
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems (primarily Linux, occasionally Windows)
- Maintenance of computers and peripheral equipment (printers, network equipment, etc.)
- Resolving reported technical issues (hardware and software) for all employees, with a focus on a professional, friendly, and efficient approach
- Documenting technical issues and solutions in accordance with internal guidelines
What we're looking for
- Experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Solid understanding of networking, with familiarity with RouterOS being a plus
- Basic experience with Shell/Bash scripting
- Excellent communication skills and patience when working with people
- A friendly and professional demeanor, with a commitment to supporting users and simplifying technical challenges
- Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies
- Full working proficiency in English
