About the job Pre-sales Consultant

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support focused on IT infrastructure solutions, mainly HPE servers, storage, and backup systems.
  • Deliver online and on-site product presentations and demonstration for prospective and existing clients when required.
  • Work closely with distributors to obtain accurate and valid quotations
  • Analyze customer technical requirements, influence solution design, and identify gaps while proposing suitable alternatives.
  • Assess and define project requirements in collaboration with customers to develop appropriate designs and solutions.
  • Design and build customized infrastructure solutions in coordination with the Project Manager and Technical Manager.
  • Prepare costing sheets, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and detailed product/unit pricing.
  • Support the sales team in responding to technical RFI/RFP requests and ensure proposed solutions fully address client needs.
  • Liaise with vendors for technical inquiries and escalations when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to implement Proof-of-Concept (POC) processes.
  • Provide clients with individual and group training sessions and ensure training materials are updated and compliant.
  • Deliver complete and accurate technical documentation to the implementation team for project execution.
  • Identify and communicate potential technical risks that may affect deal closure.
  • Adapt to changing project conditions, delays, and unexpected challenges effectively.
  • Submit accurate timesheets and maintain required certifications and technical training related to company products.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or pre-sales engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Hardware Architecture and Network Architecture.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies.
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients.
