Front-End Engineer

IT House is looking for a Front-End Engineer for a direct placement with an end client in the Transport & Logistics sector, located in Porto.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of a next-generation transport management platform;
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular;
• Implement responsive and user-friendly UI/UX designs;
• Integrate APIs to connect with backend services;
• Continuously improve the performance and usability of web applications;
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes;
• Work closely with other development teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience as a developer;
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript;
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON;
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility;
• Experience with unit testing frameworks is a plus;
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, methodical approach;
• Good English communication skills and experience working in agile teams.
