Functional Designer

We're Hiring: Functional Designer for a Multinational Company

We are looking for a Functional Designer with a strong background in SuccessFactors EC and proven experience leading integration design workshops. This opportunity is part of an international project within the tobacco production industry.

The role is available in Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra, with a hybrid/on-site work model, and candidates must be currently living in Portugal. Fluency in English and Portuguese (minimum C1 level) is required. We are looking for professionals with 5+ years of experience.

What You'll Do
You will lead integration design workshops to gather requirements from clients or internal stakeholders, prepare functional design documents, and manage the sign-off process. You will work closely with developers to clarify requirements, support unit testing, and assist the testing team by reviewing test scenarios and test scripts.

Key Collaboration Areas

With the Product Owner:
Lead discovery sessions and design workshops, and manage the sign-off of functional documents.

With the Integration Architect:
Align interface design with architectural guidelines and participate in regular internal discussions.

With Developers:
Collaborate throughout the design and build phases to confirm requirements and test implementations.

With the Testing Team:
Provide high-level test scenarios and assist in test case reviews and SIT execution.

Your Profile

• Experience leading design workshops

• Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors EC

• Experience designing CPI integrations (payroll experience is a plus)

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Organised and able to summarise workshop outcomes

• Team-oriented and collaborative
