Python Data Developer

We're Hiring: Senior Python Data Developer (GCP & Airflow)

Are you a Senior Python Developer passionate about data engineering and cloud technologies? We're looking for a proactive and experienced developer to join our dynamic team and help us build scalable, efficient data workflows in the cloud.

This role is based in Portugal, with flexibility to work remotely/on-site from one of our offices in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra. To be considered, candidates must currently reside in Portugal and have a good command of English (minimum B2 level), as you'll be working in an international environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer)

• Leverage the power of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to create scalable and reliable data solutions

• Write clean, efficient, and optimized SQL queries for data transformation and extraction

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, consistency, and accessibility

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of technical excellence

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Solid understanding of Airflow / Cloud Composer

• Expertise in SQL and relational databases

Nice to Have

• Foundational knowledge (6+ months) of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) - (Hands-on experience not required interest and curiosity are valued)
