About the Role

ITHR is seeking an accomplished IT Manager with strong expertise in Vendor Management to oversee technology operations, vendor governance, and service delivery excellence. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of IT vendor management applications, along with hands-on experience in managing complex IT ecosystems within banking or financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of IT vendor management from sourcing and contract negotiation to performance monitoring and renewal.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Utilize Vendor Management Systems (VMS) or applications (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow, or similar platforms) to track contracts, SLAs, compliance, and performance metrics.
• Develop and implement vendor governance frameworks ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal IT standards.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, manage RFP/RFQ processes, and ensure cost optimization and quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with finance and procurement teams for budget planning, forecasting, and cost control.
• Define and monitor vendor KPIs to ensure accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Drive technology sourcing strategies and contribute to the organizations IT roadmap.
• Lead a small team of IT specialists or coordinators supporting daily operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred).
• 710 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in a managerial or vendor management role.
• Proven experience using Vendor Management applications such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools.
• Strong background in banking, financial services, or fintech industries.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and enterprise systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL, PMP, or COBIT frameworks is an advantage.
