Overview:

ITHR Tech is seeking two (2) skilled Business Continuity Experts to support our strategic client in Kuwait. The candidates will play a vital role in enhancing the organizations resilience in line with ISO22301 and BCI Good Practice Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document:

    • Business Continuity Policies and Programs

    • Business Impact Analyses (BIA)

    • Crisis Management Plans

    • Continuity Strategies & Plans

    • Threat & Risk Assessments

  • Maintain and audit Business Continuity Management (BCM) program.

  • Guide BCM exercises (e.g., tabletop, walkthroughs) and training sessions.

  • Manage awareness programs and improve BCM software procedures.

  • Participate in IT Disaster Recovery (IT DR) exercises and planning.

  • Assist in BCM-related aspects of RFPs and new projects.

  • Enhance IT major incident management protocols.

  • Provide strategic recommendations on IT DR environments.

  • Deliver guidance on compliance, risk management, and audits.

  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and compliance evidence.

Experience Requirements:

  • Business Continuity Expert 1: Minimum 8 years in BCM.

  • Business Continuity Expert 2: Minimum 12 years in BCM.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or Banking.

  • Mandatory Certifications:

    • CBCI (BCI Good Practice Guide Certification)

    • ISO22301 Lead Implementer

  • Preferred: ISO22301 Lead Auditor

️ Preferred Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Familiarity with BCM software

  • Strong understanding of IT systems, DR planning, and exercises

  • Risk management, compliance, ITIL, and audit experience

  • IT incident management capabilities

Language:

  • English: Fluent (reading, writing, speaking)

  • Arabic: Preferred

Personal Traits:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Excellent planning, documentation, and presentation capabilities

  • Analytical thinker with multi-tasking ability

  • Able to manage end-to-end BCM lifecycles independently and collaboratively
