Senior Java Developer

We are looking for Senior java developer to join in our client site - Stockholm - 1 Year assignment.

Job Description:

Within our client's Insurance department, you will take part in delivering the transformation of existing services from the legacy Java platform to the new Java platform (Java 25).

This work needs to get underway, and we initially plan to build a small team to kick-start the initiative and establish an effective way of working, as this is a long-term assignment.

Together with representatives from other teams within the bank (the requesting teams), you will receive requirements, analyse them, and initiate either the migration or new development of existing Java services.

We are looking for an experienced Java developer with the ambition to also support the role of team architect, and with experience and knowledge of: Spring Boot, OpenShift / Kubernetes, MQ, Sterling.

You are a communicative person who finds it easy to collaborate, takes initiative, and is able to share knowledge with others.

Experience of our Andromeda platform (modern Java) is a strong advantage. Experience of the TDE platform (legacy Java) is an additional plus, as is experience from the banking and/or insurance sector.

The expectation is to work from the Stockholm office 2–3 days per week.
