Lead Enterprise Architect
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Enterprise Architect to drive digital transformation initiatives and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. The successful candidate will define enterprise architecture standards, guide strategic programs, and support the modernization of business processes, applications, infrastructure, and security capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Align business needs with IT strategies and technology solutions.
- Design and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and reference architectures.
- Define architecture standards, governance processes, and validation mechanisms.
- Develop and manage multi-year digital transformation roadmaps.
- Lead architecture activities across strategic programs and projects.
- Facilitate architecture boards and ensure consistency of technology decisions.
- Support cloud strategy development and secure adoption.
- Drive initiatives related to cybersecurity, IAM, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee application portfolio management, rationalization, and modernization.
- Ensure integration and coexistence between legacy systems and new digital solutions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to architects and project teams.
- Advise senior management on technology and transformation strategies.
- Maintain architecture documentation and validate key project deliverables.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in complex IT environments and transformation programs.
- Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture and digital transformation.
- Experience within public sector organizations is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks (TOGAF is a plus).
- Expertise in BPMN, UML, and ArchiMate modeling.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with microservices and application integration architectures.
- Strong knowledge of data, services, and infrastructure architecture.
