About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Open Source Developer to design and build innovative applications where mapping, geolocation, and computing come together.
You will work in a collaborative team of analysts, architects, and developers, contributing to the development of high-performance, user-centric solutions and helping shape the future of geospatial platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Contribute to software architecture design and evolution
- Ensure code quality, testing, and performance optimization

Participate in all phases of development:
- Design
- Development
- Integration
- Optimization
- Solve complex technical challenges and stay updated on emerging technologies
Tech Stack
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot
- Frontend: React, Vue.js (or similar), HTML5, CSS3
- GIS & Mapping: OpenLayers, Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Databases: Relational & NoSQL (JPA, Hibernate)
- Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Other: Linux, Docker, NGINX/HTTPD, Microservices, REST APIs
Required Skills & Experience
Core Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React preferred)
- Experience or interest in GIS / geospatial technologies
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and APIs
