Job Overview

We are seeking a Performance Tester to support the quality, stability, and performance of digital applications within an Agile and DevOps environment.

In this role, you will prepare, execute, and analyze performance tests while collaborating closely with Performance Engineers, testers, and DevOps teams. You will contribute to maintaining reliable and scalable applications by identifying performance bottlenecks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, execute, and document performance tests for applications and systems
  • Create and maintain basic performance test scripts
  • Monitor and analyze test results and identify deviations or regressions
  • Communicate findings clearly to project teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Performance Engineers, testers, and DevOps teams
  • Support quality improvement initiatives within Agile sprint cycles
  • Contribute to performance optimization and system reliability
  • Work with performance testing and automation tools
  • Assist in improving testing processes and methodologies

Required Skills & Experience

  • Completed MBO4 education in an IT-related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or performance testing
  • Experience with test execution and testing tools
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as:
    • JMeter
    • Neoload
    • Or similar tools
  • Basic experience writing and modifying performance test scripts
  • Ability to analyze performance test results and document findings
  • Structured and detail-oriented work approach
  • Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps environments
  • Good command of Dutch and basic English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and working methods

Work Environment
