Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and optimize AI/ML solutions within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI (GenAI), and Large Language Models (LLMs), combined with the ability to integrate AI solutions into business applications and SAP ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

AI Model Development

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to solve business challenges.
• Select appropriate algorithms and frameworks based on use cases.
• Train, validate, and optimize Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI models.
• Fine-tune model parameters to improve accuracy and performance.
• Develop and optimize LLM-based and GenAI solutions.

System Integration

• Convert AI/ML prototypes into scalable production solutions.
• Develop APIs and services for AI model consumption.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise and SAP applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and adoption.

Infrastructure & MLOps

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and AI infrastructure.
• Support model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring environments.
• Implement MLOps best practices for versioning, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of AI solutions.

Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor deployed models for performance, accuracy, and data drift.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Continuously improve model performance and operational efficiency.
• Implement automated monitoring and alerting mechanisms.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into AI use cases and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Architects.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for AI adoption.

Required Skills

Must-Have

• 6–8 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with:

  • Generative AI (GenAI)
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience building and deploying AI models in production environments.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience developing APIs and integrating AI solutions into enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and AI deployment frameworks.
• Experience with data pipelines and scalable AI infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP AI solutions and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with vector databases, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI monitoring and model governance frameworks.
