SAP Master Data Migration Consultant / Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced SAP Master Data Migration professionals to support a large-scale migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. The team will consist of a SAP Master Data Migration Lead Consultant and a SAP Master Data Migration Consultant, working with SAP Data Services (SAP DS).

Key Responsibilities

• Define the target migration approach, identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and technical requirements.
• Configure and optimise SAP Data Services for data extraction, transformation, enrichment, and staging.
• Configure data extraction criteria and mapping/transformation rules.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation before and after transformation.
• Execute migration runs, monitor data completeness, and populate staging tables for S/4HANA migration.
• Adjust transformation rules based on validation feedback.
• Prepare reconciliation and validation reports using Excel, CSV, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Document data flows, transformation rules, processes, and technical specifications.
• Monitor migration timelines and proactively report critical issues and risks.
• Work closely with migration leads, functional teams, SAP teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve the migration and data processing approach.

Lead Consultant – Additional Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an SAP Master Data Migration Lead.
• Strong experience defining migration strategies and target architectures.
• Proven experience analysing SAP ECC environments and preparing for S/4HANA transformation.
• Ability to assess migration complexity, impacts, dependencies, risks, and remediation needs.
• Experience estimating effort for design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of SAP migration governance, quality management, and stakeholder coordination.

General Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with SAP ERP and master data migration.
• French: Native/fluent, both written and spoken.
• English or Dutch is an advantage.

Assignment Details

• Location: Namur
• Start: September 2026
• Duration: September 2026 – March 2029
• Working arrangement: Mainly on-site, with limited remote work possible
• Lead Consultant: 0.5 day/week until Dec 2026, then 1 day/week
• Migration Consultant: 2 days/week until Dec 2026, then 4 days/week
• During key phases such as training, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support, full-time on-site presence may be required.
