Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Platform Engineer / Application Programmer with strong expertise in Python development and cloud-based application engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience across the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and support reliable, high-availability application platforms.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, peer reviews, and testing.
• Design efficient technical solutions to complex business requirements.
• Support application infrastructure and cloud-based deployments.
• Share technical expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of application architecture and infrastructure design.
• Experience working with high-availability applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proven experience as an IT Platform Engineer, Application Programmer, or similar role.
