Electro-Mechanical Technician / Process Operator
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the startup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of an industrial processing installation. The role combines process operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and administrative reporting within a production environment operating in a shift system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the startup and commissioning of new industrial process installations.
- Monitor and operate process equipment and automated production systems.
- Perform routine inspections, sampling, measurements, and process parameter adjustments.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities on equipment and installations.
- Monitor process trends and intervene when operational deviations occur.
- Complete operational documentation, reports, and administrative follow-up tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and operations teams to optimize plant performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Good knowledge of electromechanics and industrial electricity.
- Experience operating and monitoring industrial production or process installations.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational responsibilities.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and digital reporting tools.
- Experience working in a shift-based environment is preferred.
Certifications
- Valid BA4 or BA5 electrical safety certification is mandatory.
- Compliance with industrial safety regulations and procedures is required.
Working Conditions
- Full-time assignment in a two-shift system (early and late shifts, with occasional day shifts if required).
- Work is performed on-site in an industrial environment.
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety helmet, safety footwear, work clothing, and gas detection equipment.
