About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Freelance Python Developer to join an innovative Realtime Infrastructure team responsible for building and operating the technology that powers live media delivery.

You will work at the intersection of software development, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and media technology, helping to create the foundational services that enable real-time media workflows, content distribution, playout systems, and platform integrations.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization of media infrastructure as the industry transitions toward software-defined workflows, cloud-native platforms, and API-driven ecosystems.

Your Responsibilities

As a Developer within the Realtime Infrastructure team, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between media platforms and infrastructure services.
  • Build scalable APIs and reusable services that enable seamless communication between systems.
  • Develop integrations for media management, playout, and orchestration platforms.
  • Support the evolution of cloud-based and software-defined media workflows.
  • Contribute to internal tooling that enables self-service capabilities for engineering teams.
  • Improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Help reduce dependency on external vendors by expanding internal development capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure, operations, and product teams.
  • Participate in Agile development practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience using ORM frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of API development and system integrations.
  • Experience delivering production-quality code, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
