Senior Business Analyst – HR Transformation
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a major HR transformation initiative by translating business needs into validated functional requirements and process documentation. The role focuses on HR process analysis, requirements engineering, process optimization, and functional preparation for the implementation of an integrated HR solution.
Working closely with HR stakeholders, project teams, Business Architects, and Solution Architects, you will ensure that business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and validated before implementation activities begin.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current-state (AS-IS) HR processes across both soft HR and hard HR domains.
- Identify process inefficiencies, compliance risks, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to gather and validate business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design detailed future-state (TO-BE) process flows at an operational level.
- Support alignment between HR, payroll, finance, operations, and other business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the functional preparation of HR system implementation projects.
- Develop functional specifications and support solution validation activities.
- Prepare test scenarios, validation criteria, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain user documentation and process documentation.
- Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Business Analysis methodologies (BABOK, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent).
- Extensive experience with requirements engineering and functional analysis.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, including both soft HR and hard HR functions.
- Experience documenting and improving business processes using BPMN or similar process modeling techniques.
- Experience gathering, structuring, and validating business requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience supporting HR system implementations, preferably SaaS-based solutions.
- Knowledge of test preparation, validation processes, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with HR, payroll, finance, and operations teams in transformation programs.
- Knowledge of HR technology ecosystems and integrated HR platforms.
- Experience in large-scale business transformation initiatives.
