Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer (10+ Years Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer to join a dynamic greenfield implementation project. This role is ideal for a senior professional who thrives in modern SAP environments and has a strong grasp of clean core principles and cloud-ready development.

You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing ABAP solutions while collaborating closely with functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support ABAP objects within an S/4HANA greenfield implementation
• Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants to deliver scalable and efficient solutions
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing SAP functionalities
• Ensure alignment with clean core and cloud-ready architecture principles
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients to drive successful delivery
• Contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, and performance optimization
• Support testing processes including unit testing and integration testing

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP development experience with strong focus on S/4HANA
• Proven hands-on experience with:
  • CDS Views and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) Framework
  • Key user extensibility and on-stack developer extensibility
  • RICEF objects, Workflow, Webdynpro, and OData services
  • ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Eclipse, and Support Package upgrades
  • ABAP Unit Testing Framework
• Strong understanding of released APIs and SAP best practices
• Experience building custom SAP Fiori applications using Fiori Elements templates
• Hands-on experience with Business Application Studio (BAS) and Fiori Adaptation Projects
• Solid understanding of at least one SAP functional domain (EAM, P2P, FICO, O2C, MM, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Understanding of modern UI/UX principles
• Experience with Fiori Launchpad configuration
• Exposure to Output Management / OPD Forms
