Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rubrik Backup & Recovery Engineer to support and manage enterprise backup, cyber recovery, and data protection environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and enterprise backup solutions in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and support Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection solutions.
• Manage Rubrik CDM clusters, upgrades, lifecycle management, and migrations to Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC).
• Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and ransomware recovery activities.
• Monitor and manage Rubrik capacity planning and optimization.
• Support cyber resilience and data protection initiatives.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate Rubrik with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Splunk, and MuleSoft.
• Support protection of:
  • SAP HANA
  • Kubernetes
  • Oracle
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • VMware vSphere
  • Active Directory
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

Must-Have

• 6–8 years of experience in enterprise backup and recovery environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite
  • Rubrik CDM
  • Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC)
  • Rubrik Cluster Administration
  • Backup & Recovery Operations
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Ransomware Recovery
  • Capacity Management
• Experience with REST and GraphQL API integrations.
• Knowledge of cyber resilience and cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience protecting enterprise workloads including SAP HANA, Kubernetes, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, VMware, and Active Directory.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
