Full-Stack PHP Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full-Stack PHP Developer to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of an application used to manage evidence and case-related items.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse technical requirements and translate business needs into solutions.
• Develop and maintain new features using PHP and JavaScript.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of software quality.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.
• Follow security, architecture, development, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience with PHP 7.4+, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
• Experience with CodeIgniter 3 and Smarty.
• Knowledge of InterSystems Caché / IRIS and SQL.
• Experience with object-oriented development and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good knowledge of development best practices.
• Experience with Git, GitLab/GitHub, Postman, Visual Studio Code, and DBeaver.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Languages: Dutch, French, and English.

Assignment

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Until 31 December 2026, with possible extension
• Workload: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Location: Brussels
• Working arrangement: Hybrid, with at least 2 days/week on-site in agreement with the team
