Junior Functional Security Analyst

We are looking for a Junior Functional Security Analyst to support application security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into functional and security requirements.
• Support functional and technical security specifications.
• Contribute to the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL).
• Work with development teams to implement security controls.
• Support security testing, vulnerability management and risk analysis.
• Review vulnerability reports and document security findings.
• Help ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Contribute to security awareness and documentation activities.

Required Skills

• Basic experience in functional analysis and software development processes such as Agile/DevOps.
• Knowledge of OWASP, NIST, NIS2 and ISO 27001.
• Understanding of authentication, access control, encryption and software vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with SAST, DAST and SCA tools, preferably Veracode.
• Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle practices.
• Familiarity with Jira, Git or Jenkins.
• Interest in vulnerability management, threat modelling and application security.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Motivated to learn and develop in cybersecurity.
