Overview

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design and guide the evolution of a future-proof application and technology landscape that aligns with organizational strategy and business objectives. The initial focus will be on the HR domain, including HR systems, time registration, integrations, data management, security, and identity management.

The role bridges business architecture and technology, translating business requirements and target architecture into coherent, scalable, secure, and sustainable solution designs while supporting selection, procurement, and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and document the current application landscape, systems, integrations, and technical dependencies.
  • Design and maintain the target solution architecture aligned with business and enterprise architecture objectives.
  • Define technology principles, standards, architectural guidelines, and quality attributes.
  • Develop technology roadmaps and implementation strategies supporting long-term organizational goals.
  • Design integration architectures covering APIs, cloud services, identity management, and security requirements.
  • Support procurement and vendor selection initiatives by defining technical requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Ensure architectural consistency throughout implementation and transformation projects.
  • Conduct risk, opportunity, and impact assessments related to technology decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with business architects, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business and technology strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and maturity of solution architecture governance practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect in complex organizations and transformation programs.
  • Strong expertise in integration architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, security, and identity management.
  • Experience with HR systems, workforce management, and time registration solutions.
  • Strong architecture modeling experience using ArchiMate, UML, or equivalent methodologies.
  • Experience using Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX, ADOIT, Ardoq, or similar platforms.
  • Experience defining technology standards, governance frameworks, and architectural roadmaps.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable technology solutions.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting procurement, vendor selection, or RFP processes.
  • Experience defining technical requirements and evaluating solution providers.
  • Experience in large-scale HR transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and modern cloud-based architectures.
