About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the industrialization and expansion of a strategic data-sharing initiative within the Belgian energy sector.

As smart meter adoption and digital energy services continue to evolve, the organization is expanding its data-sharing capabilities to support network users, market stakeholders, and open data initiatives. This role will focus on transforming an existing MVP into a scalable and operationalized service offering.

You will play a key role in defining processes, shaping the long-term vision, coordinating project activities, and ensuring a smooth transition toward operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor the industrialization of data-sharing services with third parties and open data platforms
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into structured processes and operational frameworks
  • Contribute to the definition of the long-term vision and future roadmap for data-sharing services
  • Coordinate implementation activities related to new tools, processes, and operational models
  • Organize and support knowledge transfer toward operational teams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and market participants
  • Support governance, planning, and follow-up activities across multiple project streams
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational execution

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the Belgian energy sector
  • Experience working within a Distribution System Operator (DSO/DNB) environment
  • Proven experience in:
    • Requirements analysis
    • Data management, reporting, or data-sharing initiatives
    • Planning and monitoring implementation of new tools or processes
    • Team Lead or coordination roles within projects
  • Strong understanding of data-sharing ecosystems and digital transformation initiatives
  • Fluent English skills
  • Fluent French or Dutch, with a good command of the second national language

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of MIG 6
  • Experience with Open Data initiatives
  • Experience sharing data with third parties
  • Familiarity with operational and regulatory challenges in utility environments
