Overview:
We are looking for a Medior Full Stack Java Developer to design and build high-quality applications in a complex, security-driven environment. You will work on scalable platforms and digital solutions, contributing to both backend and frontend development in an Agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Java-based applications from functional requirements
• Build and maintain REST APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks
• Develop user-friendly frontend applications using Angular
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and security checks (OWASP, Sonar)
• Contribute to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices
• Collaborate in Agile teams and support continuous improvement
• Share knowledge and mentor junior developers

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong experience with Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate)
• Experience with Angular (2+) and modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and SQL (SQL Server)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (GCP is a plus)
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented principles

Languages:

• Dutch or French (fluent)
• Basic knowledge of the second national language
• English (professional proficiency)

Work Setup:

• Location: Brussels (hybrid – 2 days on-site, 3 days remote)
• Contract: Full-time (May 2026 – December 2026, extension possible)
