Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Platform Administrator / Architect to join a dynamic Infrastructure & Operations environment, reporting to the Digital Workplace leadership team.

This role is critical in designing, structuring, securing, and evolving the SharePoint platform within a modern Microsoft ecosystem. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering scalable and governed content management solutions across the full information lifecycle, including document management, collaboration, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and evolve the SharePoint architecture (Online and/or On-Prem), ensuring alignment with Microsoft technologies, particularly the Power Platform
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure a scalable, structured, and well-governed platform
  • Establish and enforce architectural governance, ensuring compliance with standards across all solutions and developments
  • Validate technical designs and support business teams in translating requirements into aligned architectural solutions
  • Develop and maintain standards, best practices, and governance frameworks (site structures, access control, development guidelines, etc.)
  • Act as a key stakeholder liaison, ensuring alignment and buy-in across IT teams, business units, and external partners
  • Participate in governance bodies to ensure solution quality, sustainability, and compliance

Power Platform Governance

  • Define and oversee governance of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Ensure:
    • Alignment with overall architecture
    • Security and compliance standards
    • Maintainability and reusability of components
    • Cost and licensing optimization
  • Enable business autonomy while preventing shadow IT through structured environments and governance frameworks

Candidate Profile

  • Strong expertise in SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Platform
  • Proven experience in architectural design and governance within enterprise environments
  • Ability to structure complex environments and provide clear technical direction
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience supporting business users in document architecture and automation
