About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Consultant to lead business analysis and consulting activities within complex transformation programs. This role focuses on business process optimization, functional analysis, and strategic solution design, working closely with both business and IT stakeholders.

You will play a key role in shaping data-driven and enterprise-level solutions, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Consulting

• Define and analyze business problems based on input from stakeholders and leadership
• Conduct AS-IS / TO-BE analysis and perform gap assessments
• Develop structured consulting methodologies and analysis frameworks
• Identify and leverage secondary data sources to support analysis

Process & Solution Design

• Perform business process modelling (UML)
• Map business processes to application and system solutions
• Develop strategic solution scenarios and recommendations
• Create reusable consulting assets and best practice frameworks

Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead client interactions including:
  • Interviews
  • Workshops
  • Presentations
  • Reporting
• Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior audiences

Data Analysis & Insights

• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets
• Draw insights from multiple inputs to support strategic decision-making
• Present findings in a clear and actionable format

Delivery & Collaboration

• Work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
• Contribute to delivery in Agile / DevOps environments
  • (as team member, Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Project Manager)

Required Skills & Experience

Core Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in business consulting and analysis
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution
• Proven experience in enterprise-level transformation projects

Consulting & Analysis Skills

• Expertise in:
  • Business process analysis and modelling (UML)
  • Functional requirements definition
  • Gap analysis (AS-IS / TO-BE)
  • Problem structuring and solution design

Stakeholder Management

• Strong experience engaging with senior client stakeholders
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills

Agile & Delivery

• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
• Exposure to roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Project Manager

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
• Strong proficiency in English
