About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise network solutions. This role involves end-to-end ownership of SD-WAN transformation initiatives across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Architecture

• Lead the design of Cisco SD-WAN solutions aligned to business and technical requirements
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) in line with enterprise architecture standards
• Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and detailed network design documentation

Implementation & Deployment

• Execute SD-WAN rollouts across multiple sites (Greenfield & Brownfield)
• Configure and validate:
  • vManage
  • vSmart
  • vBond
  • Edge devices (routers)
• Drive seamless migration from legacy WAN to SD-WAN

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Develop deployment guides, operational runbooks, and technical documentation
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for operations teams

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), operations teams, and customer stakeholders
• Engage with Technology Landscape Owners (TLOs) and Project Managers
• Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and change management

Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide L3 support during and after deployment
• Troubleshoot complex SD-WAN and network integration issues

Continuous Improvement

• Identify automation and optimization opportunities
• Stay updated with the latest Cisco SD-WAN features and best practices

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
• Expertise in:
  • SD-WAN policies & templates
  • vManage, vSmart, vBond
  • Edge device configuration
• Proven experience in:
  • Network design documentation (BOM, HLD, LLD)
  • End-to-end network transformation projects

Additional Technical Knowledge
