I worked on a strategic initiative focused on strengthening data center resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity for a large public-sector IT environment supporting multiple government administrations and institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducted a comprehensive assessment of the existing data center architecture, covering layers from physical infrastructure to application services.
• Analyzed three critical business applications to determine current resilience levels and identify improvement opportunities.
• Identified existing technical documentation, systems, and internal stakeholders to support the DRP/BCP implementation roadmap.
• Designed a step-by-step strategic roadmap to meet defined RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) requirements.
• Led the progressive activation of services in a secondary data center (DC2) to improve redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Contributed to the evolution of the infrastructure toward a multi–data center architecture.
• Evaluated and integrated private cloud solutions as a complementary recovery and continuity layer alongside on-premise infrastructure.
• Provided cybersecurity and resilience insights to ensure infrastructure and applications meet modern availability and security standards.
• Supported the development of business impact analyses and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems.
