Business Project Manager – IT & Digital Transformation
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Project Manager to lead multiple IT and digital transformation projects within a complex public-sector environment. You will manage projects from requirements analysis through implementation, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure stakeholder and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects involving government services, regulatory changes, and digital solutions.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and prepare functional and technical specifications.
- Coordinate internal teams, clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Plan, organise, and monitor projects across scoping, design, validation, and change management.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Organise training for employees and end users.
- Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, and performance indicators.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Organise and lead project steering committees.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Project Manager.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in public-sector or regulatory projects is an advantage.
- Languages: French, Dutch, and English.
Assignment Details
- Start: 1 October 2026
- Duration: Until 31 December 2026, with possible extension
- Workload: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Location: Brussels
- Working arrangement: Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week on-site
- Team: Multidisciplinary team with internal and external professionals
