Job Description: IBM BPM / BAW Developer

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on IBM BPM / BAW Developer with 2–3 years of experience to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of BPM-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in IBM BPM/BAW, Java, and integration technologies, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance IBM BPM / BAW workflows and process applications
• Implement and support integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
• Handle data formats such as XML and JSON
• Support integration design and development using IBM Integration Designer (IID)
• Develop and modify UI components using JavaScript
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and production support activities
• Automate routine operational tasks using PowerShell scripting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with IBM BPM / IBM BAW development
• Strong programming skills in Core Java and JavaScript
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services
• Knowledge of XML and JSON data formats
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with IBM Integration Designer (IID)

Preferred Profile

• 2–4 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication skills
