Agile Delivery Lead (Freelance)

We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to support the evolution of a Data & AI operating model within a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

In this role, you will help newly formed teams establish effective ways of working, improve collaboration, and deliver value in a structured yet flexible way. You will coach teams and key stakeholders through organisational change while supporting agile delivery practices across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide teams through organisational and operational change
• Help teams shape sustainable and effective ways of working
• Support domain leads with:
  • Backlog management
  • Prioritisation
  • Workflow organisation
  • Delivery structure
• Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, alignment sessions, and team discussions
• Co-create agile working methods tailored to team needs and context
• Improve transparency, predictability, and delivery flow
• Bring structure to delivery processes without introducing unnecessary rigidity
• Work hands-on with teams to solve challenges and unblock progress
• Support collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Coach teams and individuals in agile principles and delivery practices

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years' experience in a delivery-focused role (Agile Coach, Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or similar)
Minimum 3 years' experience as Scrum Master
Experience facilitating workshops, retrospectives, and alignment sessions
Experience supporting teams during change and transformation initiatives
Experience structuring delivery processes, backlogs, and workflows
Experience in infrastructure or software development projects
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience in Data & AI environments
• Experience coaching Product Owners
• Experience with agile delivery tools such as Jira
• Experience coaching teams and individuals
• Agile certifications (Scrum Master / Agile Coaching)
• Experience with team dynamics and team building
• Dutch proficiency at CEFR C2 level
