We are looking for an experienced Communication Expert to play a key role in the development of a new intranet platform within a large and dynamic media environment.

In this role, you will act as the bridge between internal stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring employee needs are translated into clear, user-friendly, and future-proof digital solutions. You will contribute to creating an intranet that enhances collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse business and user needs across multiple departments
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Act as a sparring partner for both business stakeholders and development teams
  • Facilitate interviews and stakeholder discussions
  • Monitor project scope, priorities, and quality throughout delivery
  • Support the optimisation of digital workplace and intranet experiences
  • Contribute to user-friendly and efficient communication solutions
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Communication Expert or similar role
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Business Analysis
  • Experience with CMS systems
  • Strong experience with intranet, portal, or website optimisation projects
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to simplify and structure complex processes and requirements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Dutch proficiency at CEFR C2 level

Nice to Have

  • Experience with corporate, marketing, or product copywriting
  • Experience creating or implementing internal communication plans
  • Knowledge of digital communication trends, content marketing, and social media
  • Experience with user experience (UX) design

Work Environment
