Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS Functional Consultant with strong expertise in IFS Cloud Service Management and PSO (Planning & Scheduling Optimization) to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, configure solutions, and ensure successful implementation across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Process Analysis

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business needs
• Translate requirements into functional IFS PSO solutions

2. System Configuration

• Conduct workshops and configure IFS Cloud Service Management, PSO, and related modules
• Work across modules such as Projects, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance
• Support field service operations across all project lifecycle phases

3. Testing & Validation

• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards

4. Training & Support

• Develop and deliver end-user training (in Dutch and English)
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities

5. Integration

• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate IFS Cloud with third-party systems

6. Documentation

• Maintain and review:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Solution Design Documents (SDD)
  • User manuals and training materials

7. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Manage expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of overall experience
• Minimum 5 years as an IFS Functional Consultant
• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of IFS Cloud and PSO
• Strong experience with:
  • IFS Cloud Service Management
  • Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO)
• Experience in field service-driven industries, especially:
  • Utilities (electricity, gas, water)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)

Language Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory)
